Abstract

An Ordinance by the regional government of Burgenland laying down provisions relating to animal materials not destined for human consumption. The said Ordinance implements the Federal Act (BGBl. I No. 141/2003) on the same subject. In particular, the regional Ordinance of Burgenland applies to the collection, storage, transport and elimination of dead game and other dead animals which are not in a slaughterhouse and to domestic waste of such nature. Whoever detains such animals, or parts of it has to report it at once to the competent authority, and until collection takes place, has to make adequate arrangements for their storage. The text consists of 7 articles.
