Abstract

These Rules have been passed in accordance with the provisions of the Indian Forest Act, 1927, in order to safeguard the forests of Maharashtra. The Rules lay down certain provisions for protection of forests from fire and the procedures for hunting or shooting in reserved and protected forest areas.
