Abstract

These Regulations provides rules for the management of fishing fpr black scabbardfish by a boat entered in the Register of Fishing Boats or in the EU Community Fishing Fleet Register in ICES areas V, VI, VII and XII for a specified period. During that period an Irish sea fishing boat shall not have or retain on board nor land more than 5 tonnes of black scabbardfish. The Decree also prohibits the transhipment of black scabbardfish and defines prima facie evidence in relation with contravention of these Regulations.
