Abstract

These Regulations define and provide for (supplementary) powers of biosecurity officers in order to fight the existence of termites in areas mentioned in the Declaration of the Biosecurity Emergency Areas for Termites. The powers of biosecurity officers include: the power to create zones in the Declared Area and to control the movement of humans, plants and animals in such zones; the power to activities in a Declared Area; the power to provide for destruction, cleansing, disinfecting and other treatments.
