Abstract

These Rules state the process for certification animals permitted for slaughter under the Bihar Preservation And Improvement of Animals Act, 1955. Further, the Rules detail out the procedure for slaughter of those permitted animals. Additionally, it states the method for disposal of unclaimed diseased animals by veterinary officers appointed by the State government and prescribes methods of disinfection of lands, farms, vehicles that have come in contact with diseased animals.
