Abstract

The present Law lays down provisions relating to fisheries in the Land of Berlin. Article 1 establishes that waters together with aquatic animals and plants are parts of the natural environment and as such the living basis of human society. Quality and diversity of waters are indispensable conditions for the development, conservation and use of fish stocks to be replenished in their complete diversity.
