This Regulation applies to the following categories of batteries and a reference to a category of batteries is a reference to one of the following categories: 1. Primary batteries; 2. Rechargeable batteries. Every producer shall establish and operate a collection system for each applicable category of batteries in accordance with the requirements set out in sections 9 to 11.
