Abstract

The objectives of this Plan are the protection of the barramundi stock in the management area from depletion or stock decline and sustainable fisheries development practices for the participation and benefit of traditional resource users. This Plan lays down management measures in the fields of licensing, total allowable catch, prohibitions on fishing methods and gear, area restrictions, marketing standards, and reporting.
