Abstract

The object of the Corporation is to improve the performance of the wool industry in Australia by: (a) the adoption of appropriate strategies for the promotion of wool and wool products, both within and outside Australia; (b) facilitating the efficient marketing of Australian wool and wool products; and (c) the adoption of proper measures for the safeguarding and improvement of Australian wool quality (sect. 5). Functions of the Corporation are described in section 6. The Corporation must keep a "Register of Woolclassers" (sect. 11). Subject to conditions of section 13, a qualified person may have his or her name entered on the Register of Woolclassers.
