Abstract

This Order revokes and remakes a Scheme which in conjunction with the Aujeszky’s Disease Order (Northern Ireland) 2012 provides for the monitoring and surveillance of Aujeszky’s Disease in Northern Ireland. The Scheme provides, among other things for: allocation of pig health status to each holding; routine and risk-based sampling; and powers of entry of an authorised officer for the purpose of taking any samples.
