Abstract

This Order, made by the Department Commerce and Employment under section 13(1) of the Import and Export (Plant Health) Ordinance, 1982, prohibits the importation into Guernsey of ash trees as a precautionary measure to protect local trees from the fungus Chalara fraxinea, which has recently been identified in the United Kingdom.
