These Regulations do not apply to any ornamental aquatic animal reared in a non-commercial aquarium; any wild aquatic animal harvested or caught for the purpose of direct entry into the food chain other than one which is to be treated as an aquaculture animal under regulation 21(3); and any aquatic animal caught for the purpose of the production of fishmeal, fish feed, fish oil or any similar product.
