These procedures now comply with the UNECE Convention on Access to Information, Public Participation in Decision-making and Access to Justice in Environmental Matters. Any notice issued by the Licensing Authority, informing the public regarding a decision made in respect of an aquaculture licence application, must state that a person may raise the question of validity of a decision with the Aquaculture Licensing Appeals Board.
