Anyone who is the subject of a Ministerial Order or other decision under the Act may appeal the Minister's decision within 15 days of being notified. The appellant then has 30 days to file a written submission with supporting documentation to the Minister (sect. 4.1). The Minister has 30 days to respond (sects. 4.2 and 6). Filing an appeal does not immediately stop execution of the Minister's decision (sect. 5). The right to appeal exists for applicants whose permit or licence has been refused or revoked or someone accused of violating the Act or one of its Regulations (sect. 3).
