These Standards enter into force on 1 July 2008.
Abstract

These Standards aim at strengthening the control of generation and discharge of pollutants from pesticide industry, improving environmental quality and ensuring public health. The Standards stipulate the limits for the discharge of water pollutants of the production process of crude heterocyclic pesticides such as imidacloprid, triadimefon, carbendazim, paraquat, atrazine and fipronil. They are applicable to the control and management of pollution discharge of the enterprises manufacturing crude heterocyclic pesticides; EIA, design of environmental protection facilities and post-completion check and acceptance of the construction projects of heterocyclic pesticides plants.
