Abstract: Article 1 of the present Act contains the Animal Transportation Act laying down provisions on the transport of animals and related actions. The purpose of the present Act is the protection of animals in any mode of transportation as on road, by air or on water as well as minimum requirements to prevent the spreading of animal disease. The text consists of 25 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Plans for monitoring and control of crisis (2); Authorization to use various means of transportation (3); Special provisions (4); Penal, final and transitional provisions (6). The Law contains 2 Annexes.
