Abstract

The purpose of this Act is to protect animals, including birds, fish, insects (but excluding micro-organisms) living in natural or artificial conditions. Section 2 contains definitions. Sections 3 prohibits maltreatment or killing except in cases provided for in section 4 of animals. Section 4 specifies circumstances in which it is allowed to kill animals.
