Abstract

These provisions amend rule 6 of the Animal Health Problems Affecting Intra-Community Trade in Bovine Animals and Swine Rules, which deals with the requirements to be met by animals for breeding or production. Furthermore, new rule 6A is added. This new provision concerns the designation of institutes, national reference laboratories or official institutes responsible for coordinating the standards and methods of diagnosis referred to in Schedules A to D to the rules.
