Abstract

The Law is implementing the Animal Health Act and other related regulations including some of the EU regulations to prevent and control animal diseases while promoting animal health. It establishes competent authorities, including ministries and regional councils, with defined responsibilities, powers, and collaboration mechanisms for enforcing animal health laws. Additionally, it regulates the organization, tasks, and status of veterinary services and experts, including official veterinarians and private veterinarians, while designating investigation facilities and setting guidelines for data protection and cost recovery. The text consists of 49 Articles designed in 7 Parts.
