Abstract

These Regulations, made by the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine under the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013, provide for a census of cats, dogs and ferrets present in the zone specified in the Schedule to be carried out by the Minister. They also prohibit the organisation of or participation in gatherings of animals that involve cats, dogs and ferrets, including hunting activities.
