Abstract

The present Ordinance implements article 12 of the TSE Animal Material Act (BGBl. I No. 141/2003). The Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the disposal of animal by-products and materials not intended for human consumption. The text consists of 11 articles as follows: Sphere of application, duty to dispose animal materials not intended for human consumption (1); Definition of terms (2); Exceptions to disposal duty (3); Exceptions in general (4); Duty to notify (5); Storage, transport (6); Transportation service (7); Registration (8); Compensation (9); Penalties (10); Entry into force, implementation of community law (11). Three Annexes are enclosed.
