Abstract

This Regulation, composed of 6 sdections, gives definitions and makes provisions for the creation of sheep rinsing pools and disinfesting facilities within the area of a settlement. Section 1 gives definitions. Section 2 gives powers for the Director of the Veterinary Service to order the creation of sheep rinsing pools and disinfesting facilities by the sheep holders. Section 3 deals with the creation of rinsing pools and disinfesting facilities by the Veterinary Service and the debiting of construction expenses on the sheep holders. Section 4 deals with sheep holders obligations. A sheep holder is obliged to bring his sheep, upon order of a government veterinarian, to the rinsing pools and disinfesting facilities situated in his settlement area for disinfestations from external parasites. Section 5 provides for a tax to be paid for each disinfected sheep. Section 6 gives general information.
