Abstract

This Act amends the Animal Diseases Act by substituting for section 25 concerning offences and penalties. Any person who contravenes or fails to comply with any provision of this Act or any rule, order or direction lawfully made or given under this Act, commits an offence and, notwithstanding the provisions of any written law, is liable to a specified penalty, which may be a fine or imprisonment.
