This Ordinance comes into force on 4 August 2006.

Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Act of 25 January 2004 on animal by-products not intended for human consumption. The Ordinance further provides for requirements for biogas plants and processing of animal by-products in a biogas plant, requirements for composting plants and processing of animal by-products in a composting facility and facilities for the disposal of animal by-products as waste. The text consists of 29 articles divided into 7 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Special measures for kitchen rests and for farms breeding aimals (2); Evidence of transport documents (3); Requirements for the processing, treatment and waste disposal of animal by-products non intended for human consumption (4); Registration and authorization (5); Exceptions (6): Final provisions (7); Five Annexes are enclosed.
