Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Animal Breeding Act of 22 March 1994 (BGBl. I p. 601). The text - consisting of 15 articles – deals with the following matters: recognition of a breeding organization; breeding use of male animals, importation of breeding animals, semen, ovula, and embryos from other member states, establishment and running of insemination stations, registration of preparation and control of semen, insemination outside station, issuing of insemination permits and penalties.
