In particular, section 5 of the Act establishes the National Alcoholic Beverage Policy Committee. The Committee shall have the powers and duties to: a) lay down and submit policy, work plan and measure for controlling alcoholic beverages through taxation and other controlling measures; b) carry out any duty as prescribed by this Act.
