Abstract: This Act provides for the manufacture, importation, placing on the market and use of agrochemicals, i.e. any organic, inorganic or live biological material intended or offered for sale for purposes of: (a) destruction, control, repulsion, attraction or prevention of any undesirable life forms injurious to plant and animal growth; or (b) promotion or inhibition of plant growth such as fertilizers, growth regulators, hormones, defoliants or legume inoculants.
