The present Regulation enters into force on 1 April 2015.
Abstract

The present Regulation enacts the Manitoba Agricultural Services Corporation Act. The Regulation establishes a Production Insurance Programme, as contemplated by the Act, for the purposes of providing insurance for the kinds of loss or damage. The programme is also known and sometimes referred to as "AgriInsurance" or the "AgriInsurance Programme". The text – consisting of 19 sections – deals with the following aspects: definitions, designated perils, legibility for insurance, application for a contract, contract, insurable crops and guaranteed grades, terms and conditions, coverage levels, pasture coverage, crop coverage plus coverage, vegetable acreage loss coverage, methodology, establishment of areas and regions, declaration of insurability by the corporation and coming into force.
