The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 January 2005.
Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Law of 7 May 2000 implementing the Federal Act on agriculture. In particular, the Ordinance covers the cantonal promotion of agricultural production and marketing of agricultural products through contributions, the management of the Alps The Ordinance also regulates the enforcement the federal and cantonal agricultural legislation to the extent that is not governed by special regulations. The text consists of 27 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Promotion of specific cultivation methods, quality and sales promotion (2); Acceptance of cultivation of fallow land (3); Promotion of animal breeding (5); Management of alpine dairies (5); Final provisions (6).
