All provisions of the Act which apply to inland waters shall also apply to the territorial waters of Finland (sect. 3 of Chapter 1). Other provisions which have been amended concern: pollution of territorial waters (sects. 18 and 19 of Chapter 1), permits issued by the Water Court (sect. 20 of Chapter 1), dumping of mud (sect. 6 of Chapter 4), general provisions applicable to waste water and other polluting substances (sect. 2(a) of Chapter 10); permits for the drainage of waste water (sects. 24, 24(a), 24(e), and 25 of Chapter 10) and international relations (sects. 13 and 15 of Chapter 21).
