Abstract This Act implements Regulation (EC) 1007/2009 and Regulation (EC) No. 1007/2009. Competent authorities are the Finnish Wildlife Agency, the Policy and Customs. The Act gives competent authorities the necessary powers to monitor and inspect business activities related to trade in seal products. It also lays down rules on offences and penalties.
