Abstract The Act's goal is to supervise and control the electricity and gas market by promoting efficient, secure and environmentally sustainable activities in national and regional electricity and natural gas markets, and the EU’s internal market for electricity and natural gas in order to ensure energy consumers good delivery, competitive prices and equitable principles of electricity and natural gas services. A decision made by the Energy Market Authority may be appealed to the Administrative Court in the manner prescribed by the Administrative Procedure Act (586/1996).
