Abstract This Act prohibits the production of products containing asbestos. Art. 1 par. 3 provides provisions which allow marketing and the use of certain products containing asbestos until they are used up or until asbestos free substitutes are available, whichever occurs first. Art. 5 lays down that employees working in the establishments listed in Annexes 2 and 3 to the Act, in case of stating an occupational disease after the day of contract termination, are entitled to the compensation from the employer under the provisions on benefits in respect of accidents at work and occupational diseases.
