Abstract

This Act concerns administrative organization for water resources management. It consists of 31 articles and is divided into nine Parts: water The purpose of this Act is to contribute to the preservation of natural heritage of the Slovak Republic and to promote the conservation of the characteristics of the landscape and to achieve ecological stability (article 1). The Act contains provisions on nature conservation and on the preservation of the environment. It addresses issues related to the administration of protected areas and to activities that can take place in such areas.
