This Act entered into force on 14 October 2019.
Abstract

This Act applies to disposable packaging for beverages that are placed on the market in the Slovak Republic and to waste from such packaging. The present Act lays down: (a) the rights and obligations of legal entities and natural persons in the returnable disposable beverage packaging; (b) tasks of the administrator of the returnable system of disposable beverage packaging; (c) the competence of state administration bodies for the area of depositing disposable packaging for beverages and waste from such packaging; (d) state supervision and the procedure of state supervision bodies in its performance, administrative offenses and proceedings on the imposition of fines.
