Abstract The purpose of this Act, which is composed of 20 articles, is to support agricultural marketing, growth of consumption and promotion of agricultural products and foodstuffs. This Act regulates the establishment, tasks, principles of financing, organization and functioning of the fund of promotion of agricultural products and foodstuffs. The Act establishes the following funds: Milk Promotion Fund, Pork Promotion Fund, Beef Promotion Fund, Horsemeat Promotion Fund, Sheep Meat Promotion Fund, Cereal Grains and Cereal Products Promotion Fund, Fruits and Vegetables Promotion Fund, Poultry Meat Promotion Fund and Fish Promotion Fund.
