Abstract The purpose of this Act to raise funds for the prevention and reduction of environmental hazards and damages caused by products which directly or indirectly endanger the environment or one of its elements during the production, marketing, utilization of the product, as well as to contribute to the prevention and reduction of environmental pollution and to the promotion of activities oriented towards the sustainable management of natural resources. Products subject to environmental protection fee are batteries, Packaging materials, petroleum products, electric and electronic equipments, rubber tires, paper-based advertising materials.
