Abstract

This Act abrogates the Special Secretary of Environment - 'SEMA' under the Ministry of the Interior, the Fishery Development Department - 'SUDEPE' under the Ministry of Agriculture and creates the Brazilian Institute for the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources - IBAMA. It consists of 7 articles laying down composition, duties and competencies of aforementioned administration in environmental sector.
