Abstract This Act amends article 51 and 82a of Act on the protection of the environment in Svalbard (No. 79 of 2001). Article 82a now states that vessels that call at the territorial waters of Svalbard shall not use or have on board petroleum-based fuel with a higher viscosity, density or freezing point than permitted for fuel oil.
