Abstract

These amendments of the principal Act aim at implementation of Directive 98/8/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of biocidal products on the market. “Biocidal product” is defined all non- agricultural pesticides. Also a definition of “biocide” is given. Various small amendments are made. A new paragraph on enforcement (sects. 16c and 16D) is added.
