Abstract

This Act contains rules relative to the registration and operation of veterinary surgeons and other (para)veterinary operators and provides for judicial control on practice of such operators by the Veterinary Disciplinary Committee. The operators shall obtain permission from the Minister to practice their profession and shall be allowed to carry out the operations as specified in this Act for each specialization. There shall also be a Veterinary Appeals Committee, which shall protect interests of veterinaries in disciplinary procedures.
