Abstract This Act partly amends the Water Supply Act, in particular provisions regarding groundwater mapping for 2015 and the reduction and extension of drinking water protection. For Act No. 1199, the Minister of Environment (art. 11) may now establish rules on procedures in connection with surveys and mapping of groundwater supply for 2015, as well as the decision to also include other authorities and public water suppliers' involvement (such as municipal councils) for the provision of information for mapping. For Act No. 962, there shall now be paid a contribution to drinking water protection until 31 December 2020 (art. 3, sect. 2). The contribution amounts to 39 DKK for each cubic meter of water between 1 January 2016 and 31 December 2017, while a contribution of 19 DKK/cubic meter shall be for period between 1 January 2018 and 31 December 2020.
