Abstract The purpose of this Act is to protect and improve human health and the environment. This Act amends Water Law and lays down provisions for: (1) classification of bathing water quality; (2) monitoring of bathing water quality; (3) management of bathing water quality; (4) ways of notifying the public on bathing water quality. These provisions establish authorities responsible for identification and registration of bathing waters.
