Abstract This Act, which is composed of 96 articles, lays down some amendments and addenda to the Waters Act so that it becomes accordant to appropriate regulation sof the European Union. In particular, objectives of water management and related action programs shall take into account the impacts of climate change. The present Act lays down provisions concerning management plan for the marine environment (supplemented art. 59a), detailed plan to reduce flood risk (supplemented art. 60a), protected areas and protected regime of bathing water (supplemented art. 77a), compensation for the reduction of income from agricultural activities due to water protection (supplemented art. 79a).
