The Act enters into force 30 days after its publication in the Journal of Laws.
Abstract

The Act, which is composed of nine a articles and four Annexes, regulates: registration of varieties of cultivated plants specified in Annex 1; production and evaluation of seed material of varieties specified above and varieties used as ornamental plants; turnover and control of varieties of cultivated plants specified in Annex 2 and varieties used as ornamental plants; production, evaluation, turnover and control of seed material of varieties of agricultural plants included in the systems of evaluation specified by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), not intended for turnover on the territory of the European Union.
