The Nutrition, Traffic and Environmental Center branch office in Northern Savolax and the owner of a water area or the holder of a special right may enter into an agreement to restrict and prohibit fishing in a specific water area in order to protect the local fish resources and to achieve a favorable conservation status for the Saimaa bay.
