The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry may for some determined period prohibit the use of certain gear and methods in areas in which fish species that are threatened with extinction are present. The Ministry may also for a certain time prohibit exportation or importation of fish and regulate transport, storage and other handling in order to prevent the spreading of diseases.
