Abstract

The present Act introduces substantial amendments to the Feedstuffs Act in its consolidated version of 25 August 2000 (BGBl. I p. 1358). In particular, the heading of Part II is reworded as follows: “General provisions for feedstuffs, additives and compound feedstuffs”; also that of Part III is reworded as follows: “ Special provisions for additives and compound feedstuffs”. Moreover, the present Act introduces some amendments to the Greenhouse Gas Emission Allowance Trading Act of 8 July 2004 (BGBl. I p. 1578). In particular, article 23 dealing with electronic communication is amended. The competent authority may prescribe an encoded form for the transmission of electronic documents.
