Abstract The Act partly amends the Energy Supply Act and Energinet.dk Act with regards to subsidy granted for existing natural gas-fired industrial combined heat and power plants. In Act No. 1329, an additional article (58c) is being added. Its provisions ensure now that subsidies can be provided from 1 January 2013 to 31 December 2020 for the production of electricity from industrial combined heat-power stations' facilities using natural gas as fuel, which are connected to the electricity supply grid until 21 March 2012).
