Abstract This Act amends 68 points of the Act on trade in endangered species. In particular, the Act establishes provisions concerning: general conditions of import, and export and other activities relating to trade in endangered species (art. 3 of the amended Act); movement of live specimens within the member states of the European Communities (art. 15a); registration of traders and research institutions (art. 16a); licenses for processors and packers of caviar (art. 16b); marking and identification of specimen (art. 23c, 23d); proof of legal origin of specimen (art. 24); functioning of rescue centers (art. 29a, 29b, 29c, 29d); seizure and confiscation of specimens (art. 34, 34a).
